Hoot Fest
Discover the hidden delights of the Little Buffalo at Hoot Fest! Outdoor fun for all, with swimming, hiking, great food, games, music, prizes and more, all to support the work of Arkansas Ozark Waterkeeper.

Traveling north from Jasper, AR, go 5 miles, turn right (east) on NC3200, stay left, go 2 miles to event site parking.

Traveling south from Harrison, AR, go 15 miles crossing the Buffalo River bridge at Pruitt. Go 1 mile further and turn east onto NC3200, go 2 miles to event site parking.

ACTIVITIES
We'll have maps waiting for you to grab and take off on your own hiking adventure. Turtle rock is adjacent the Buffalo National Park and has over a half dozen nearby hiking trails of various distances and difficulty levels!
Bring a fishing pole, life jacket, goggles, and swimsuit and have fun exploring the beautiful Little Buffalo River!
Plus, there will be yard games and pony rides, too!

No need to head home or leave early to go lock down a campsite in the park. Primitive campsites available onsite! Registering ensures you have a site. Tent pitching is on a first-come basis, but don't worry - there are unlimited breathtaking places to camp.
Are you musically inclined or just like to pretend you are when the mood is just right?
Perfect. Bring your pickin' instruments, harmonica, tambourine, whatever you've got, and stick around for the late night jam session!
